This is the trip of a lifetime! For most of us, it is the only opportunity to be part of an expedition to one of the remotest places on the planet. The lectures were excellent and certainly enhanced the whole experience.

The northern lights delivered a spectacular show. We were kept busy the whole time and it went by way too fast.

A perfect itinerary allowing one to experience the varied and multi-faceted beauty of Greenland. It’s so much more than you expect! The fjords are breathtaking, the ice is intoxicating, spotting wildlife—thrilling! I cannot believe I was kayaking around icebergs…at midnight! Greenland is sheer delight for your eyes! AND, gloriously under-crowded.

Doe-eyed reindeer, dog sleds, snow-draped trees in hidden forests, tipis, glass-topped igloos, snowshoes, saunas, laughter, and homemade doughnuts are my treasured Lapland memories…and light, always the light.

We had perfect weather throughout, pristine snow, untracked forests, a compatible group that hung together, and a great Trip Leader who took very good care of us. How can you improve on the perfect alignment of the stars?

All the lecturers were excellent! Very knowledgeable. Very comfortable with their subjects as well as with speaking. Riveting!

This trip had a great balance of active outdoor fun and cultural activities. The sea kayaking among the islands near Senja was really special. And the rorbuer (former fisherman’s cabins) were just lovely!

Ingrid was AMAZING! She put together an incredible itinerary that showcased the Lapland culture, cuisine, and landscape beautifully. So very fortunate to have been on this trip with her!

The itinerary was great, and the scenery was breathtaking. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was—didn’t expect that in Greenland.

This was a wonderful experience with great wildlife and spectacular scenery.

Our guides were super, hotels and food couldn’t be better, hikes were very well chosen both in degree of difficulty and views from the top, cultural events were interesting. And WT ordered up perfect weather—not quite sure how you did that.

The history, culture, and beauty of Norway’s northern islands were amazing. This trip hit it out of the park with great hikes, followed by wonderful food and wine. It was a fabulous time!

This was a truly wonderful trip in a wonderful country, with great landscapes, and our activities helped us learn and experience many dimensions. The hiking was spectacularly good.
